Adrienne Murphy, B.A., MEnv.

Indigenous Data Sovereignty Specialist

Settler from Treaty 13, territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples.

Adrienne holds a Bachelors in Environmental Studies from McGill University, and a Masters in Environmental Assessment from Concordia University. With a background in GIS, she has worked in non-profit, start up, and consulting environments. Her work has focused on the collection and presentation of spatial data, including wildfire mapping across Canada, fisheries data along the BC Coast, and personal histories in Canada's northern regions.

At Kwusen, she provides client training and support on use of the digital services including Community KnowledgeKeeper, NationsConnect, and GeoKeeper. Additionally, she assists Indigenous communities with projects involving data collection and management.
