Hailey has been born and raised as an uninvited guest on the unceded territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples and of the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples of the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations.

In 2022, Hailey graduated with a BA from the University of Victoria, where she majored in cultural anthropology, and minored in religion, culture, and society. Hailey is passionate about applying her academic research skills in support of community-based and collaborative research initiatives. She enjoys the balance that is struck between building relationships and hitting the books in her research work.

At Kwusen, Hailey provides data management support on the company’s research projects.
