Stella Spak. Ph. D.
Anthropologist
Stella Spak received her PhD in Social Cultural Anthropology (Canadian Resource Co-management Boards and Their Relationship to Indigenous Knowledge) from the University of Toronto in 2001. Since then she has worked as a researcher, workshop facilitator, and for the Sayisi Dene Nene Land Claims Office (Tadoule Lake, MB). She has also been a member of a research team contracted by the “Akwesasne Task Force on the Environment” in relation to the EPA Superfund cleanup site near Akwesasne, New York.
