Tasha grew up as an uninvited guest on Secwépemc traditional territory, and now lives as an uninvited guest on the unceded territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples and of the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples of the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. 

Tasha graduated from the University of Victoria in 2023 with a B.A. majoring in Anthropology and minoring in History. Having focused on archaeology, cultural anthropology, GIS, and historical research, Tasha is passionate about supporting community-based and collaborative research in her work at Kwusen. As a Research Assistant at Kwusen Tasha provides data management support on the company’s research projects.
